OUR STORY IN CASTRO VALLEY
After serving poke for 7 years in Lafayette, finally we opened a 2nd Poke shop at 08/2023 inside of Lake Chabot Public Market.
Both locations are family owned and operated, my family and I poured our hearts into this restaurant, creating a welcoming space for our community. We worked tirelessly every day, dedicated to making our dream a reality.

The devastating impact of the fire
Devastated by Fire
On May 30th 2024, our world was shattered by a devastating 3-alarm fire that severely damaged the Lake Chabot Public Market where our restaurant is located. That 3-alarm fire not only took our livelihood but also disrupted our dreams, efforts and hard works.
Our passion
We hope the Lake Chabot Public Market will rebuild soon so we can once again serve the community with delicious food and provide a welcoming, comfortable place for everyone to gather and enjoy.
How you can help
We are determined to rebuild and come back stronger, but we need your help. We are reaching out to our customers, community supporters, and business partners with a humble plea for donations Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to reopening our doors and continuing to serve you with delicious food and a welcoming place to gather.
Community & Family
We deeply miss the vibrant community of the Lake Chabot Public Market. It was more than just a place of business; it was a haven where vendors, employees, and customers formed a close-knit family. The market was filled with warm smiles, friendly conversations, and a sense of belonging. As both a vendor and a resident of CV, I cherished the atmosphere and the people who made it special.
Thank you for all the supports and a such nice community, we will rebuild! We will be back! We stay strong because of your support!
